Our Mission

The Parent Faculty Association of Rollan Melton Elementary’s mission is to provide support so that the Washoe County School District can work to offer each student the opportunity to achieve his or her potential through a superior education in a safe and challenging environment in order to develop responsible and productive citizens for our diverse and rapidly changing community.

Our Goals and Objectives:

  1. To enhance and enrich the educational experience of the students. Also to lend needed support to faculty and families.

  2. To assist and support the school by working in a cooperative role.

  3. To encourage parent participation.

  4. To raise funds for projects and activities to benefit the students.

  5. To plan events, activities, programs, and projects to benefit the students.

  6. To provide parents information pertaining to education issues.

  7. To assist families and faculty that are in need.
